ESC Assembly elected the new European Confederation’s President

european-presidentThe European Shooting Confederation elected its new President during its General Assembly in Osijek, Crotatia. The ESC also decided on the locations of the next continental sport appointments.

The President of the Russian Shooting Federation, Vladimir Lisin, was elected as the new President of the European Shooting Confederation. The election was decided at the General Assembly of the European Shooting Confederation that took place in Osijek, Croatia, where the European Championships are taking place these days.

The former ESC President, Unni Nicolaysen of Norway, was elected by the Assembly as ESC honorary President.

Kerstin Bodin from Sweden and Pekka Kuusisto from Finland were elected as ESC Vice Presidents, while the former ESC Vice President Tomislav Sepec of Croatia did not run for another term and was appointed as ESC honorary member.

Mr. Jörg Brokamp, the Secretary General of the German Shooting Federation, was appointed as ESC Honorary Secretary.

The ESC Assembly also decided the next continental appointments:
2012 European Championship Air Guns will take place in Vierumäki (FIN)
2012 European Championship for juniors small-bore will take place in Bologna (ITA)
2012 European Championship Shotgun will take place in Bologna in Larnaka (CYP)
2013 European Championship Air Guns will take place in Bologna in Aarhus (DEN)
