ISSF World Cup Final in Shotgun – First athletes arrive in Minsk today

The 2008 ISSF World Cup Final starts in Minsk, Belarus. The best shooters of each Olympic Shotgun event will compete from the 25th of September to the 1st of October for the 2008 World Cup title.

The 2008 ISSF World Cup Final in Shotgun starts today in Minsk, Belarus, where the world’s top shooters are convening to take part in the last appointment of this shooting season.
The World Cup Final takes place at the “Sporting Club”, a four-ranges shooting venue set in the outskirts of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Here, the top twelve shooters of each Olympic shotgun shooting event will compete for the title of 2008 ISSF World Cup Champion between the 25th of September and the 1st of October.
The first final, the Double Trap Men match, will take place the 27th of September, at 3.00 PM Minsk time (GMT+3).

The Title Defenders:
Five shooters are called to defend their respective titles, gained one year ago on the ranges of the BG Kovilovo shooting club in Belgrade, Serbia.
